We use plant based oils, beeswax, essential oils, organic herbs and wholesome raw ingredients. Essentially, ingredients that your own mother would happily put on your skin.
We do not use parabans, phthalates, SLS’s, sulphates, artificial colours or synthetic fragrances. We avoid any chemicals that disrupt your hormones, lead to cancer and cause a whack of problems in your body.

Absolutely. All of our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. We use calming and soothing natural ingredients and our ingredient lists are super short (usually 6 items or less), so you can tell right away if you are going to have a negative reaction to a product. No guessing!

Yes, you can! Using natural oils that are light, quick absorbing and non-comedogenic can actually balance out your own sebum production (meaning less oily skin). Products that have a drying effect can cause your skin to overproduce oil to fight the imbalance. All the oils we use in our products, such as jojoba, apricot and rosehip will help to establish a natural balance on your skin.

Our body balms are rich and luxurious yet they do not feel greasy because the formulations are balanced with light and quick absorbing oils. Keep in mind, that unlike water based lotions which you can apply copious amounts of, our beeswax and oil based balms go a long way. Less is more.

The shelf life is 1-2 years depending on the product. Each product has a sticker at the bottom indicating the best before date. Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.

We source our beeswax from a small family farm in Mulmur, Ontario called Ontario Honey Creations. They pride themselves on being conscientious, knowledgeable, and responsible beekeepers.

Our products are considered "Made in Canada." Although we use local beeswax that is a product of Canada, many of our oils like apricot and jojoba are from Spain and Turkey. Our rose petals and dried botanicals are from Canada and some oils like broccoli seed and various essential oils are a product of Canada. Our labels are from Canada and our bottles and jars are sourced from Canadian companies, but they are likely manufactured in China or India.

Unfortunately, Canada does not manufacture many glass bottles anymore and oils are even more challenging since we live in a cold climate. One of our favourite oils is coconut oil and we simply cannot get there here. We try to source Canadian whenever possible.

We use glass, metal and compostable materials for all of our products. We are working hard to be 100% plastic free but at the moment, there are still some small components made of plastic. When shipping your products we use recyclable boxes and tissue paper, paper washi stickers and compostable tape.
